TS Optics PHOTOLINE 2" corrector and reducer for Astrophotography with 80mm f/7-f/7.5 ED refractors
This corrector is optimized for APO- and ED-Refractor telescopes with 80mm aperture and an f-ratio of f/7 to f/7.5. It delivers very good results with these telescopes. Even with larger sensors the stars look sharp and round across the whole field.
The corrector is simply inserted into the 2" receptacle of the refractor and fixed. Since it does not have a safety notch tilting will not be a problem.
Backfocus
The backfocus from the camera-sided T2 thread to the sensor is exactly 55mm. If you want to connect a DSLR you will need the appropriate T2 ring. For almost any astro camera, e.g. from ZWO, fitting adapters are available.
Usage of smaller refractors with smaller aperture and/or shorter focal length
This corrector also delivers good results with smaller refractors. We also recommend this corrector for 70mm and 72mm f/6 refractor telescopes. The optimal distance for such telescopes is 63mm from the T2 thread. In order to adapt a DSLR camera, you will need a T2 extension with 8mm and of course the T2 ring.
Attachment of nebula filters
On the telescope-side the corrector offers a M48x0,75/2" filter thread. With it you can attach all customary nebula filters
