The Skymax 90 Maksutov Mirror Telescope is a very compact telescope for terrestrial and sky Observing. This Maksutov telescope is supplied without a mount. A 1/4"x20 threading is included on the mounting plate for attachment to a standard camera tripod. Free aperture 90 mm, focal length 1250 mm, light gathering power 170x against naked eye, resolution 1.28". This Maksutov has a really sharp optic and a brilliant and colorfree image. The tube is very sturdy. The focus will be adjusted via a main mirror focuser.
With the Skymax 90 you can observe many details on the moon like crater, mountain ranges or grooves and on the planet Venus you can see the phases like crescent Venus or half Venus. On Jupiter you can observe the cloud bands and the 4 largest moons, at Saturn you will see the rings. Milky Way will show thousands of stars, double stars and open and globular star clusters. Also this telescope shows many planetary nebulae and emission nebulae like the Orion nebula, and you can observe the brightest galaxies. But also for terrestrial observations this Skymax is a perfect solution. Regardless of whether you will watch landscapes or animals, this telescope will show you a very sharp and brilliant image.
