Eye lens for astro eyepiece Leitz F=30/88°.
Original eye lens / spare part for the astro eyepiece LEITZ wide angle plano eyepiece F=30 / 88°.
The eye lenses are original company Leitz aluminum welded packed and opened for inspection before shipment. We have the Leitz eyepiece according to Wide-angle Zeiss design for astronomy in 1994 as the world's professional, the only seller offered to the astroamateur. The foreign distribution was done by the company APM Ludes. At that time this eyepiece was the most complex and costly eyepiece eyepiece construction, which was ever offered to the experienced amateur in limited edition.
The BW-Optik company, had a TOP eyepiece made by experts using these high quality optics, which is second to none. Special glass insert and so far unequaled large field of view with absolute edge sharpness let the observing with this with this 2" seven-lens eyepiece to an overwhelming experience. In the journal Sterne und Weltraum 5 / 1996 Mr. Claus and Mr. Remert even said in a test report even stated: "the focal length of 30 mm combined with 88° field of view of the WW plano eyepiece F=30 / 88° leaves even the well-known Nagler eyepiece with F= 20 / 82° field of view." So it was the beginning of the era of unimagined fields of view. Who is interested can download the report from the publishing house Sterne und Weltraum to download the report from 5 / 1996 (for a fee).
From 1996 the eyepiece received still a new housing design in black anodized execution with BW-Optik Design engraving.
