ZWO 5V EAF Motor Focuser with USB Connector

This motorized focusing unit allows precise focusing. Remote control can also be done via smartphone or tablet because the EAF supports ASIAIR and ASCOM. The control can also be carried out via PC or laptop. Alternatively, there is also a hand box for on-site control.

There is also a hand box for on-site control included in this Advanced Version. Important: The plug must be inserted firmly, otherwise there is no contact.!

Included in this Advanced Version is also a temperature sensor which can be used together with suitable software to compensate the focus drift during temperature changes.

The versatile adapter plate allows the motor focus to be connected to TS-Optics telescopes, SharpStar, Astro Tech, Starlight Feather Touch and many more.

The most important change of the 5V EAF in that the 12 V power supply connector has been removed. Now you can connect the EAF directly to your camera, laptop or ASIAIR PRO via the USB 2.0 port and cable for both data transfer and power. This makes cable management much easier.

Compatibility

Important note
The manufacturer specifies an operating temperature range of -5 to +50 °C. It therefore makes sense to use heaters in winter. See Accessory.
