A quad element design consisting of triplet objective lens, incorporating a central ED lens, plus a field corrector lens in the drawtube. This produces exceptionally sharp images free from chromatic aberration and delivers high contrast and clear images. Star images are less than 20 microns on the edge of imaging field.
A newly introduced precision multi-coating on the objective lens yield high light transmission of a 99.5% within a spectrum between 400mm and 700mm per surface.
