A perfect travellers apochromat - for visual observation and astrophotography. Under the leadership of Teleskop Service, this high-quality Photoline triplet apochromat with an FPL53 element from Ohara (Japan) was created as the perfect travel apochromat.

Even at the highest magnifications, the image remains without color errors, and that with excellent field correction. It is one of the best and brightest 80mm apochromats that we have seen so far. The fast focal ratio of f/6 not only keeps the refractor very short and compact, it also ensures short exposure times for astrophotography.

The best mechanics guarantees an excellent image performance for years and success in astrophotography. This optic can only be used successfully if the mechanics are correspondending. Often, producers safe on wrong places. Not so with the Photoline 80mm f/6 Apo. The Photoline f/6-Apo is unrestrictedly suitable for astrophotography, as with any high-power refractor, however, the field must be corrected so that the stars at the edge are still nice and round.
