The PHOTOLINE triplet apochromat from Teleskop-Service offers you an image that until now has only been seen from significantly more expensive apochromats. The color error could be reduced to a no longer disturbing minimum by the precisely manufactured lens. The correction is significantly better than that of comparable ED lenses. The lens is not cemented, but constructed with an air spacing. Of course the lens is adjustable. We compared the imaging performance and field sharpness with a similar device with 110mm aperture and came to the conclusion that the visual and also photographic performance is significantly better.
The apo is perfect for astrophotography. The fast f/ratio enables short exposure times and that with high resolution. Large nebula regions as well as small galaxies or planetary nebulae can be photographed very well with the apo.
We recommend the TS flatteners / correctors TSFLA2, TSFLAT2,5 and the reducer TSRED379 for this device.
The ball-bearing 2.5 "R&P focuser holds accessories up to about 5kg without slipping or tilting. Cameras up to full frame are fully illuminated. The 1:10 micro-reduction enables more sensitive focusing. The extension tube is adjusted using a toothed drive Bearing decoupled by ball bearings. This enables a sensitive adjustment even with maximum load. Of course, the base has a 360 ° rotation as well as an M63 internal thread for the corrector adjustment.
