TS AZT6-GR Travel mount for astronomical and photo tripods

The compact, but powerful altazimuthal tilting head is an ideal travel mount. With less than 1 kg weight and approximately 100 mm x 120 mm size, it even fits into a coat pocket. At the same time, the compact mount has all advantages of a well-engineered altazimuthal mount.

Connecting telescopes, cameras, spotting scopes or binoculars

The AZT6 comes with a GP-style dovetail clamp so telescopes with standard dovetail rails can be mounted directly.

If a vertical connection is wanted (like for binoculars or spotting scopes without rotation), attach an L-bracket to a saddle plate.

If the instrument is heavier than 4 kg, we recommend the counterweight bar (TSO-AZT6-BAR) and the matching stainless steel counterweight (TSO-AZT6-GGW). Thus the adjustment stays smooth and the tripod is not stressed on one side only.
