TS-Optics AZT6mount - Altazimuth Mount with optimal Weight Compensation

With the AZT6mount, Teleskop-Service has developed a totally new designed mount for countryside viewing and astronomy with features other altazimuthal mounts in this class hardly have to offer. That makes this altazimuthal mount to one of the most versatile mounts at all.

Applications

Nature and landscape viewing: Observe the object with binoculars, a spotting scope or a telescope. Track slow objects smoothly, without juddering, even at high magnification, or just slew quickly to another object. Your instrument is always in perfect balance, you even do not need to lock.

Astronomy: The AZT6mount easily accepts your telescope and the mount is more stable than most beginner´s mounts. No matter how high the object is located in the sky, slew to its position and enjoy the view. You can exactly center the object even at large magnification. No ball head or pan head can do this.

Photography and video: For photographing of objects at large distances, you need a super telephoto. The ATZ6mount is the base. It replaces the ball head or pan head while being clearly more vibration resistant. We recommend the mount also for photo and video reports, for example of sports events. Rapid camera pans with heavy photo equipment, that is the speciality of the AZT6mount. Of course, the mount also offers locking in both axes.

Configure the mount

Select a suitable tripod. For instruments up to approximately 5 kg weight, a good photo tripod is sufficient, for heavier instruments we recommend the Berlebach photo tripod Report 322K.
?Select a matching counterweight for your instrument. The counterweight should weigh approximately as much as your instrument. By positioning the counterweight rod and lateral shifting, you can then adjust the balance perfectly.
