TS-Optics 1.0x Corrector for Refractors, up to Full Frame - Generation II

TS-Optics 1.0x Corrector for Refractors, up to Full Frame - Generation II

The TS Photoline 1.0x full-frame flattener corrects the field of view of refractor telescopes and allows astrophotography with perfect edge sharpness

  • Full illumination and correction of the image field up to 55 mm sensor diameter
  • Factor 1.0x, the focal length remains unchanged.
  • Suitable for all refractor telescopes with focusers from 2.5" upwards
  • No reflections and ghost images due to high quality coating and anti-reflection thread
  • Connections at the telescope side M68x1 male thread and M63x1 male thread (reducing adapter)
  • Connections at the camera side M48x0.75 male thread with adaption for 2" filter
  • Practical working distance of 55 mm from M48 thread (can be extended to 88 mm)
  • Refractors require a working distance of at least 145 mm from the M68 or M63 female thread.

Product description

TS 2.5" Photoline corrector for astrophotography with refractor telescopes - GEN II

For years, the 2.5" full-frame corrector from TS-Optics has been on the market and convinces with excellent results. Nevertheless, our products are continuously improved. What has remained is the convincing optics, which allows edge sharp astrophotography with refractors, with good illumination. Sensors up to full frame size can be used. But we have improved the mechanics of the corrector.]

The connection to the focuser:
The TSFLAT25G2 is suitable for refractors with focusers of 2.5" or larger. Of course, the corrector is screwed to the focuser. On the telescope side, a M68x1 male thread is available for this purpose. The scope of delivery also includes an adapter from M68x1 to M63x1, for all focusers that have an M63x1 female thread.

The required working distance is at least 145 mm from the M68x1 or the M63x1 female thread on the focuser. This is no problem with all refractors designed for 2".

The connection of the camera to the corrector:
This is where the new TSFLAT25G2 has changed the most. The connection to the camera has been significantly simplified. An M68x1 female thread and an M48x0.75 male thread are available for connection. The camera adapter also offers a 2" filter thread on the inside.

-- Refractors from 500-640 mm focal length: Working distance 65 mm from M48 thread
-- Refractors from 650-790 mm focal length: Working distance 60 mm from the M48 thread
-- Refractors from 800 mm focal length: Working distance 55 mm from M48 thread

You can also remove the M68x1 extension. This extends the working distance by 33 mm and provides space for individual accessories, such as an off-axis guider, quick couplers or even 360° rotation systems.

The comprehensive scope of delivery of the TSFLAT25G2:

  • 2.5" corrector in robust metal body with M68x1 male thread connection on telescope side and M68x1 female thread connection on camera side
  • Reducing adapter from M68x1 to M63x1 for refractors with M63x1 female thread (length 8.5 mm)
  • M68x1 extension on camera side (length 33 mm)
  • Camera adapter with M68x1 male thread on corrector side and M48x0.75 male thread on camera side and 2" filter connection (length 5 mm)
  • Metal dust caps for both sides
