DeepSkyDad Motorized Focusing System
Motorized focusing makes astrophotography much easier. The telescope no longer needs to be touched, which prevents vibrations, and a clean focus adjustment becomes easier, whether with or without a computer. The AF3 motorized focus system has a stealth drive feature for minimal noise and vibration. In addition to smoother movement, it also provides more precise movement with microsteps down to 1/256.

The housing has also been optimized for easier mounting. All mounting parts for the focuser are included. AF3 is also ASCOM/INDI compatible, for computer aided focusing.

Stand-alone operation without computer is possible.
Many astrophotographers prefer an uncomplicated operation without a computer. For this purpose a compact hand controller with a 120 cm long cable is included in the scope of delivery. Pressing the +/- button activates the motorized adjustment.

The speed is adjustable.
Simply set the desired adjustment speed in the corresponding computer program. If you work without a computer, you can also set the speed using the hand controller. This works quite simply:

• Press both buttons (+/-) simultaneously. The speed is reduced by one step.
• Each time you press both buttons simultaneously, the speed is reduced until the desired result is achieved.
• To reset the speed to the full value, both buttons must be pressed for more than 2 seconds.
