The 100mm f/5.8 quadruplet from the TS Imaging Star line was developed by Teleskop-Service for the demanding astrophotographer and observer. Thanks to the FPL-53 lens with air spacing, the image is free of color errors and offers excellent contrast. The field is very well flattened by the built-in corrector. You will have excellent star imaging in the field right from the start, without the hassle of finding correctors and the correct distance. Although this apo has been optimized for astrophotography, it will also perform very well visually. The stars are crisp and are shown without color errors. The image remains clean and rich in contrast up to approx. 300x.

This telescope has a classic apochromatic lens with an air space between the elements. The lens is adjustable. The cell is temperature compensated, even low temperatures do not change the star image. The main lens is FPL-53 from Ohara - Japan. Each glass-air surface has the best possible coating from the manufacturer.

The 3" CNC focuser is based on the Starlight Feather Touch ™ FTF3035 and therefore is clearly superior to conventional Crayford focusers. The power is transmitted by a helical drive rod and is decoupled from the actual bearing of the extension tube. This increases rigidity even with a maximum load (up to 6kg ).
