TS Optics 1.25" Colour Filter - Violet #47 from 120mm Enhances contrast on planets TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by transmitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a result the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility. Minimum aperture is 120 mm.
Well-suited for observing Venus in telescopes of 150mm aperture or larger. It makes the dark clouds in Venus' atmosphere visible. Boosts structures in Saturn's rings. You may also use this filter on Mercury under good seeing conditions in large telescopes.
