TS Optics 1.25" Colour Filter - Red #25 from 80mmEnhances contrast on Moon and Planets TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by transmitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a result the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility. Minimum aperture is 80 mm.
For very high contrast on the Moon - suitable for telescopes of 100 mm aperture and larger. Enhances details on Mars, including the polar ice caps. Well suited for Venus by blocking the blue daylight. The sky appears black.
Features - the filter housing is made of metal and as thin as possible to avoid vignetting.
