TS Optics 1.25" Colour Filter - Lightred #23A from 60mm
Enhances contrast on Moon and Planets TS Optics colour filters offer an improved contrast when viewing the moon and the planets. Each filter works out specific details by transmitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a result the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility. Minimum aperture is 60 mm.
For very high contrast on the Moon, suitable for small aperture telescopes. This filter is used when observing the polar ice caps on Mars (100mm aperture and larger) and it separates the polar regions of Saturn from the equator region. Well suited for daytime observations of Venus by blocking the blue daylight. The sky appears black.
