Telradfinder
The classical zero-magnification LED finder. The Telrad is particularly popular for use with Dobsonian telescopes. When looking through the Telrad you will see three red rings superimposed on the actual sky. You can still see the stars as with your unaided eyes, but the rings will tell you precisely where your telescope is pointed at.
We recommend the Telrad especially in combination with a good optical finderscope (e.g. 8x50). Faint objects are more easily identified with the optical finderscope, the Telrad will effectively prevent you from losing orientation. The Telrad base is usually attached to the tube by means of a double sided duct tape (included).
You can also attach it with two screws, but you will then need to drill two holes into the telescope tube. For easier transport the Telrad can be removed from the base within seconds.
