The Ocal collimator is an innovative tool, which facilitates the adjustment in a completely new way.
Each Ocal collimator has an internal motor that moves the CMOS chip linearly. Via the software, the focus can thus be ideally adjusted to the individual areas of the alignment. So you can focus on any area in the telescope without touching the setup or imagetrain. Colored centering circles can be selected and adjusted via the included software. The software also controls the line width of the circles as well as the contrast and exposure of the live image. Last but not least, a fade cross can be switched on and rotated via software. In this way, all areas that are important for the adjustment can be brought into focus and concentrically aligned very precisely. With the alignment of the crosshairs, the exact linear alignment of the trap can be assessed.

The collimation of a reflecting telescope is a problem that astronomers must solve. OCAL electronic collimator is an electronic device developed by Chaoxing Astronomy to calibrate the collimation of reflective telescopes. Its main function is to mark several calibration circles through software to achieve the purpose of collimation.

If the screen goes black after a few seconds in the Android version. Place your finger on the app icon. Select App Info. In the sub-item Other authorisation, tick the box for Display on lock screen.
If the Windows version cannot be installed on your computer, please install the corresponding software from the OCAL download folder. This is called VC_redist.xt.x64 or VC_reddist.x86. Please choose the version for your operating system. In some cases it is necessary to download the missing DLL file from microsoft. Unfortunately, some computers are missing the necessary service packs.
