Due to the position of the prism, it is essential that the mechanical length of the 1.25" eyepiece sleeve, including any screwed-on filters, does not exceed 31 mm! Otherwise the sleeve could come into contact with the prism and damage it.
The mechanical light path of the turret is 82 mm. With the optional 35 mm extension sleeve, this corresponds to the mechanical light path of the Takahashi 2" zenith prism with 1.25" reducer, i.e. 117.5 mm. The use of the extension tube is essential to achieve focusing with the following instruments: FC-76DS, FSQ-85ED, FSQ-106ED, FSQ-130ED, Mewlon-250CRS and Mewlon-300CRS.
