The Skywatcher Explorer 150PL is a fantastic choice for intermediate astronomers and also the serious beginner. It has a large 150 mm of light gathering aperture combined with superb parabolic optics. With a longer focal length of f/8 this telescope provides higher magnifications with a given eyepiece than its f/5 cousin, the Explorer 150P. Delivers excellent performance for the observation of the moon, planets, nebulae, galaxies, star clusters and tight double-stars.
