The Sky-Watcher 2" Amici Prism allows a viewing angle on the telescope of 45 degrees and provides an upright and laterally correct image when used with a refractor or Maksutov Cassegrain telescope with 2" connector. This makes it extremely useful for daytime terrestrial observing. It can be used with 1.25" and 2" eyepieces. The eyepiece connections include a clamping ring to protect the eyepieces. The telescope side of the prism has a 2" thread for filters and a patented design to prevent twisting and slipping in the focuser. The prism is broadband coated and phase corrected for excellent light transmission and high contrast.
