High Wind Kit

The wind resistance of the cupolas Sirius Observatories is very significant, those are indeed conceived to resist gusts up to 144 km/h. However in certain areas a special kit is recommended so that the observatory can support winds blowing up to 225 km/h.

The photograph opposite shows one of these fixings between the dome and one of the walls. This type of fixing out of stainless steel is also found on the level of the ground and the cimier for a maximum resistance to the winds violent one.
