Quick release dovetail adapter for mounts with normal saddle plate

The quick release dovetail adapter allows a quick and solid connection of your telescope at your mount.

Instead of tediously bolting and unbolting of the tube rings, you just slide the scope in to clamp and fix it with one single screw.

The instrument connects within seconds safely to your mount. The dovetail adapter fits to the following mounts:

• EQ-2, EQ-3 and similar
• GSO Sky View

The following hole distances of the saddle plate are compatible:

• 160mm / 150mm and 140mm

Simply measure the hole distance where the tube rings connect to your saddle plate to see if the adapter is suitable to you.

Mounting the telescope

To connect the telescope, telephoto lens or spotting scope to your mount, you need a fitting dovetail plate. This plate remains at the tube rings at the telescope. Dovetail rails are not included.
