TS Photo Dovetail Bar EQ5 style with slotted hole and photo thread

The dovetail bar allows attaching telescopes and spotting scopes to mounts with GP style saddle plate and also to matching saddle clamps. The profile construction reduces weight and also vibrations. The special shape of the surfaces allows connecting of flat surfaces (tube rings and mounting plates), but also of round surfaces (telescope tubes).

Versatile mounting possibilities

The bar has a slotted hole with 18.5 mm length on one side and a normal bore on the other one. Thus the distance of the tube rings can be varied between 169 mm and 182 mm. The holes are suitable for M6 and 1/4" screws. Socket screws should have a thread with 13 mm length.

The dovetail bar also fits to photo tripods and tilting heads

Exactly in its middle, the bar has a female 1/4" photo thread, so the bar fits to photo tripods and tilting heads. You can attach your telescope or spotting scope to a photo tripod, too. The dovetail bar allows effective balancing, for example if the spotting scope is top-heavy.
