A maximum of sharpness and contrast

The use of special ED-glass (Lanthan) and the blackening of the complete inside and all lens edges to avoid reflexion and also the SMC multicoating makes this eyepieces perfect in sharpness and contrast. So they are one of the best on the market.

Using with a binoviewer

The small diameter of the eyepieces and the calm inview with a comfortable eye relief makes this eyepieces perfect at the binoviewer.

Adjustable rubber eyeguard

You can adjust the rubber eyeguard exactly to the wanted distance. No matter of wearing eyeglasses or not, you always will have a pleasant inview. The positon of the eyeguard snaps in so it can not adjust.

Eye relief of 18 mm

One of the most important characteristics of an allround eyepiece is the eye relief. With this eyepiece even untrained observers immediately will get a good image. So we highly recommend this eyepieces for public star observatories.

XF 8.5 mm and XF 12 mm are parfocal

Particularly useful is: Both XF eyepieces are parfocal. So you needn´t refocuse after changing.
