Orion England is known for excellent optics. This telescope manufacturer has also been producing excellent Maksutov Cassegrains for years. The OMC 140 impresses with its compact design, excellent mechanics and very good optical performance. The OMC 140 Deluxe is a compact system for observing and photographing the moon, planets and deep sky objects. The scope can be equipped with 2" eyepieces. With the 1/6 Lamba optics, the telescope is particularly suitable for the dedicated planetary observer.

With appropriate 2" eyepieces, you can achieve a usable field of view of around 1.3 degrees. That's around 2.5 times the diameter of the full moon. This makes the OMC a real compact all-rounder with very good imaging quality.

The carbon fiber tube reduces the weight of the telescope system and also offers optimal temperature stability with very high rigidity at the same time. Each OMC is delivered with this tube.
