Celestron 200 mm Newtonian with focal ratio 1:5 on EQ5 Mount A universal telescope with much power and comfort The parabolic primary of this 8" Newtonian mirror minimizes spherical aberration to produce a sharper image near the edge of the field of view. This scope is great for intermediate visual observers and beginning astroimagers looking for a large aperture with lots of light-gathering power. As the telescope is meant for users who already have a suitable mount, there is no mount included! The optics An 8" mirror collects a lot of light, increasing the perception of dim celestial objects. The relatively short focal length and the 2" focuser have a positive effect when viewing large objects, as the latter can be seen completely in the large true field of view. Because of the large focal ratio, "hard" nebula filters can be applied when using eyepieces of long focal lenght, resulting in a clearly enhanced contrast. On the other hand, the parabolic primary mirror allows high magnifications - helpful for moon, planets, planetary nebulae ans smaller galaxies. The low obstruction of only 26% gives more contrast, thus having advantages when observing planets. Of course, the fast optics has also advantages in photography, is it reduces the exposure times. The coma, typical for Newtonians, can be eliminated by a coma corrector, achieving high sharpness even in the corners of the image. General Features 8" (200 mm) f/5 optical design with 2" focuser gives excellent wide field views Parabolic primary mirror minimizes spherical aberration to produce a better image Low obstruction gives high contrast Scope of Delivery Telescope Optical Tube Assembly with rings and dovetail bar 9x50 Finderscope 1.25" Eyepiece 20 mm Skywatcher EQ-5 Mount
Zeiss 12 x 60 BLC Kriegsmarine ( direction finder telescope) binoculars blcxRm.-F12x60 for Em4mR40 with 60 degree view. "blc" is the coding for Zeiss Jena from November 1940. RM.-F. is the abbreviation for Richtmann-Fernrohr. abbreviation for Richtmann-Fernrohr. EM 4m = rangefinder 4m base. The left eyepiece is mounted eccentrically in a rotatable disk to adjust the eye distance. mounted in a rotating disk. The eye relief is set using the lever at the front. Weight of this glass 3628 grams, width 16.5 cm, length 27 cm. The massive eyepieces have a diameter of 40 mm. The eyepiece lenses measure 26 mm. The lateral eye relief can be adjusted from approx. 57 mm to 72 mm. The eyepieces are suitable for spectacle wearers. Field of view: 5 deg = 86.6 m/1,000 m; APFOV 60 degrees eyepiece side, Exit pupil: 5 mm. Each tube consists of an Amici roof prism and a 60° deviation prism, which are glued together (see view 5: www.flickr.com/photos/binocwpg/9548656535/in/photostream/ ). This prism system has two air-glass surfaces instead of the four found on most Porro-I and roof prism binoculars, which improves light transmission and gives a brighter image. Condition clearly used, see pictures. Adjustment when looking through is good and not yellowish. A tripod adapter with 1/4-20 internal thread has been attached. The eyepieces focus well and the eye relief can be easily adjusted. The colored glass wheel does not rotate, so no filters can be swiveled in.the metal eyepiece cap works very well.the right lens looks quite good. The left lens has a few spots that are not noticeable when looking through it. When looking into the front, it is noticeable that both prisms are spotted. This is also not noticeable when looking through. Since a service with cleaning would cost over 1000 euros, I am very happy with the current condition.
Item condition: used, but with visible cosmetic markings
