The Monkey Grip 2 D32 – D40 is a mounting adapter for round profiles with a diameter range of 22 mm – 30 mm. It is important to note that it does not have continuous adjustment but rather detent positions. These are determined by a replaceable detent segment. The smallest increment corresponds to a diameter difference of 2 mm. Use the detent options of 32-36-40 or 32-34-36-38-40 mm in the options menu, or let us know the diameters you desire.
Furthermore, Grip 2 means that the adapter is equipped with a camera plate (Ø 68 mm) on a ball stud, allowing a range of movement up to ±35°. Optionally available with ¼"UNC or 3/8"UNC threads, please specify when ordering.
The clamping unit for the ball stud is pre-set at 30°. Here too, you have flexibility. Options include 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°, and 120°. Adjusting the position depends on the orientation of the round profile, ensuring optimal utilization of freedom of movement. An Allen key fixed to the detent segment assists with reassembly.
