The Monkey Grip 1 D22 – D30 is a mounting adapter for round profiles in the diameter range of 22 mm – 30 mm. It should be noted that it does not have continuous adjustment but rather fixed detents. These detents are determined by a replaceable detent segment. The smallest increment corresponds to a diameter difference of 2 mm. Use the detent settings of 22-25-28 or 22-24-26-28-30 mm in the options menu, or inform us of the diameters you desire.
Furthermore, Grip 1 means that the adapter is equipped with a small ball stud, allowing a range of movement up to ±35°. It can be switched with either a ¼"UNC or 3/8"UNC threaded pin on the adapter.
The clamping unit for the ball stud is preset at 30°. Here too, you have flexibility. Options include 0°, 30°, 60°, 90°, and 120°. Adjusting the position depends on the orientation of the round profile to fully utilize the range of movement at all times. An Allen key fixed to the detent segment assists in the reassembly.
