Hotech SCA-2D Laser Collimator with perfect Centering for 1 1/4" and 2"

2" and 1 1/4" Laser, no clamping or decentering through selfcentering mechanism

This laser can be used with all 1 1/4" and 2" focuser and tubes. Its clever self centering mechanism will not clamp the laser with screws, the housing spreads out and centers best possible in the focuser. Variances of different manufacturer of the 2" and 1 1/4" tubes will be compensated through this mechanism.

The laser solves different problems:

• Tolerances between different focuser tubes
• parallelism inside the focuser because of the wide contact surface
• Tilting is not an issue, because it will not be campled punctually with screws

The laser has a reticle with 45° markings, so it´s easy to find out which adjusting screw you have to turn. The result is, it´s not a mystery which screw you have to turn  to center the laser point in all directions.

Tiny laser point

A fine laser point allows the best possible precission for adjustment. Most laser have a large laser spot, so the adjustment will be a gamble. Thanks to the tiny laserbeam the SCA laser allows the best possible adjustment quality.

As an alternative you can get this laser also with a fine crosshair.

Longlife battery

With the CR123 3 V battery you can use the laser 60 h at a time.
