Named after the sacred mountain of the Japanese Fujiyama, the FUJIYAMA HD-ORs are multi-coated on all four glass-air surfaces, which means an extended light yield and brighter images compared to the earlier orthoscopic eyepieces from Kokusai Kohki. In addition, all glass edges are blackened to minimise stray light and internal reflections. Cemented lens surfaces are uncoated.
