The new Maksutov-Newtonain MN-152 with its tack-sharp, fully corrected field sets the new standard for astrophotography. Highest quality workmanship combined with the lightweight carbon fibre tube and excellent optics make observing and photography a pleasure. The low expansion coefficient provides a stable focal point during imaging sessions and the low thermal conductivity reduces seeing inside the system. The Maksutov system provides a planar field of view without coma and is there therefore the right choice for the dedicated user.
This telescope has been designed for wide field observations and astro-imaging in cooperation with the famous "comet-hunter" David H. Levy.
