EOS-2 Cable for MGEN or UrsaMinor Intarface (f.e. for EOS-5D) Cablelength: 120cm

This release cable is a useful accessory for the Lacerta MGEN autoguide, the MGEN takes full control of the camera and can therefore also be used the dithering function. This cable fits the Canon EOS 5D and all other EOS cameras with the CM-N3 socket.

Excerpt from the description of the MGEN: For EOS cameras there is a compatible shutter connection, you set the number, time and pause of the exposures, as well as the waiting time after folding up the camera mirror - no timer necessary anymore. It offers the command Random Displacement (Dithering), which can be executed in both axis directions (also independently of each other) and is especially useful for continuous shooting. In this case, the autoguider adjusts the mount between the shots by a few pixels so that the possible dark noise structures and hot pixels do not lie on top of each other during the subsequent image summation. This results in much better sum images!
