ATIK 450mono monochrome CCD camera with 2.2 megapixels

The ATIK 450 mono is the first camera in the class that comes with an optimized housing and a highly sensitive sensor plus a cooling power of up to -30°C.

Due to the special housing and the cooler management, this camera series is the optimum companion for all systems where the camera is placed directly in front of the optics or in prime focus.

Where others force obstruction or produce ugly reflexions, the 450 series produce wonderful images.

Sonys ICX655 with its fine pixels is perfect for all Hyperstar systems, as well as for being used with telelenses or small apos.

The entire camera design has been created for best performance. Also included is the software "Capture" and the image processing software "Dawn".

Capture offers the main and most important functions for a full camera control, focusing assistent and connection to ATIK autoguiders and filterwheels. Also included are the drivers for MaximDL, AstroArt and CCDSoft along with ASCOM drivers.

Dawn is a new standalone image processing software. All major steps for a basic image processing are included.
