Astroprints solar filter with Baader ND 3.8 film for Seestar S50 from ZWO
Solar filter for solar observation - mount from 3D printingThe proven Baader solar filter foil offers optimum protection for the eye or the sensor. The Made in Germany mount holds the filter foil optimally and creates a fixed connection to the telescope or telephoto lens. The Baader filter film is more robust and safer than a glass filter. It is coated on both sides, which also eliminates the risk of small micro-holes. Like no other solar filter on the market, AstroSolar is CE-tested in accordance with EC standard 89/686 and EN 169/92 (notified body 0196). All work steps associated with this product have been thoroughly tested. The coatings are constantly tested for consistency to ensure your eye safety!
The frame from 3D printing
The frame comes from 3D printing. A solid and above all UV-resistant PETG is used so that the frame does not become brittle even after years of use. The frame is optimally customised and a secure hold is guaranteed. Subsequent replacement is no problem thanks to the simple design with an internal clamping ring.
Reliable and safe filtering of sunlight with the Baader AstroSolar photo film (ND 3.8) - the film is coated on both sides and is held tension-free.
