APM apochromatic Telescopes
The new eyepiece extensions with rack and pinion drive and 1:10 support remain stable even at high loads and is thus also suitable for photography. The attention to detail can also be found in the enclosed 2 "to 1.25" eyepiece adapter, which has a completely new design that comprehensively clamps the eyepiece and thus works much better than conventional adapters with a simple brass clamping ring and screw. The ED optics have a doublet optic with OHARA FPL 51 ED lenses. The other lens is made of lanthanum to provide maximum performance. The CNC-made tubes are first-class processed, as is the extension.
In order to guarantee the typical, high quality of APM telescopes, each optics passes through an interferometric test at 532nm (green) before shipment. Combined with a high-quality 0.75x Reducer lens you have a real astrograph.
