APM - LZOS Apo 280/2800 CNC- LW II
11" f/10 of superlatives
There is no doubt that this device is an absolute high-tech top product of optical manufacturing art! As a stationary, professional-grade observatory device, it can easily be used as the main device for various types of astronomical work. No matter whether visually or photographically, in the sun, planets or groups of galaxies - this giant will not disappoint you! The optical performance should be in the range of a 15 "obstructing system. However, the contrast performance will always be superior to a mirror system!
The leaps in light-collecting area are now enormous: This optic already provides more than 20% more area than the 10-inch model, and the visual limit increases to 14m0. This means that you can expose extremely deeply with modern sensors and, thanks to the excellent optics, also create the smallest details, e.g. high contrast in small galaxies. It goes without saying that the chromatic correction of this system is excellent. With f / 10, the optics are calculated in such a way that they do not need too long for temperature compensation. Not least because of the long focal length of almost 3 meters, the use as a "planet killer" is just too good - you will certainly not be disappointed! The high-contrast optics offer enough scope for detailed perception at the highest level. These optics can also be used excellently for analysis methods such as astrometric and photometric measurements. It is therefore predestined as an operational device at institutes, observatories and in the semi-professional area.
This exclusive 11 "apo system is produced individually for you. You have full freedom of design for the tube, focuser and external adjustments such as back focus and accessory connections / adapters. We calculate the diaphragm system exactly according to your specifications for field diameter and distance to the focal plane. Custom-made products such as Coudé tubes can of course be realized! The weight of the tube is approx. 65kg, we will advise you competently on the choice of mount and, if necessary, dome.
In addition to the large 3.5 "FeatherTouch focuser, all the important reducing adapters, sleeves and the viewfinder holder are already integrated in order to conveniently connect both photographic and visual accessories. Multi-compatible pipe clamps are standard, a sturdy transport box is optionally available. We coordinate the primary data and optional components closely with you!
