With regard to the optics, exactly the same should be noted as with the CNC-LW II model, only the selection of the focuser is different, here the APM focuser 3.7 inch is installed, which of course can also be rotated 360°.
With a focal length of 1200mm you can already achieve high magnifications with a moderate focal length of the eyepiece, which i.e. the viewing position on the eyepiece is good for you! Since the radii of a longer system are not so extreme, this optic is ready for use more quickly because it cools down more fast. The chromatic correction achieved is excellent and enables absolutely convincing contrast values! Binocular observations e.g. on the moon, Jupiter or Saturn (my favorite) become a pleasure! If the air is stable, this optics resolves so finely that you almost experience a "cinema feeling"! With a 130mm aperture you already have almost 70% more light collecting area than a 100mm optic. The resolution is already improved by approx. 30%. The illumination is completely sufficient to be able to "operate" larger CCD sensors. Our specially manufactured reducers and correctors turn these optics into a high-performance photo machine!
An interferometric test protocol is included so that you know what you are getting.
In terms of equipment, everything important is already included: Slidable dew cap, end cover, viewfinder bracket, CNC tube rings and the necessary visual adapters / reducers. The device is of course transportable, as is the LW-II version. As an observatory, this refractor cuts a fine figure!
The price-performance ratio is excellent! For this optical quality, the competitor sometimes has to dig deeper into his pockets!
