The APM fork mount is the result of intensive practical application. The Big version holds Giant binoculars up to 150mm aperture. The optimal, soft tracking movements, simultaneous low vibration and high load capacity are unsurpassed.
Due to the special fork shape, the APM fork mount enables free movement up to the zenith. This makes it perfect for both astronomy and nature observations.
The base bearing is designed as a dry bearing so, the fork can be easily pulled up. It weighs only 6kg without the pivot bearing. In addition, the base can easily be mounted on a tripod.
The inner distance between the fork arms is 38.5cm on the inside and approx. 44cm on the outside. This fork mount is suitable for our Giant binoculars from 100mm, 120mm and 150mm aperture.
