The APM roof prism 2" is perfectly suited for astronomical observations with correct visual orientation.  The optical surfaces are specially multi-coated with ultra-broadband to ensure a minimum of reflection losses in almost the entire visual spectrum.

With a clear aperture of 46mm, it also offers the largest light path on the world market, which means that all 2" eyepieces can be used without vignetting. This opens up completely new possibilities for observation with large accessories. Our APM 2" 90° roof prism is  suitable even for very experienced moon and solar observers.

The stable body is precisely CNC-milled. The accessories are held securely with the modern 2" APM quick-release clamp (Q-Lock). The eyepiece-side accessories are held in place over the entire surface by means of a ring clamp. In contrast to clamping screws, the eyepiece or adapter is centered and precisely on the optical axis. Not pressed against the opposite surface. The front 2" barrel can be unscrewed and has a M 50.5 x 1 thread
