The new APM 180 f/7 FCD100 triplet lens design impresses with its high resolution and color neutrality.
FCD100 is an ultra-low dispersion optical glass similar to fluorite (CaF2). With this glass, in combination with high refractive index optical glasses, excellent chromatic aberration (color error) correction can be achieved.
This new innovative combination results in an optical performance far above the usual in this price category. To guarantee APM's typical high quality, each optic undergoes an interferometric test at 532 nm (green) before shipment.
