Antlia narrowband filter with 3 nm bandwidth
Antlia nebula filters offer extreme contrast. Thus, the astrophotographer achieves a very good result even with considerable stray light from cities or from the moon. Antlia guarantees a transmission of at least 88% in the 1 nm range around the central passband. This makes the narrowband filters interesting also for fast telescopes and objectives. Even at an extreme focal ratio of f/3, there is only minimal transmission loss.
The quality features of Antlia narrowband filters at a glance:
- High light transmission and narrowest bandwidth to maximize contrast
- Steep spectral profile minimizes halos around bright stars
- Single substrate to eliminate internal reflections
- Use in light-polluted areas and dark locations
- Extends exposure time in moonlight conditions
- Antlia Narrowband Pro filters can be used with low signal loss down to F/3 systems
- All Antlia narrowband filters are blackened at the edges to prevent internal reflections of stray light
- Superior optical reliability reduces post-processing of the image
