ALCCD motorized Filterwheel for 5 x 2" framed (M48) and unframed 2" Filter

ALCCD filterwheel for 2" threaded or 50 mm inlay filter, 5 positions. Both connecting threads have M54 x 0.75 mm, so no vignetting may occur. The adapter to T2 (camera side) and 2" plug (telescope side) are included.

This filterwheel is one of the flatest and lightest motorized 2" wheels. The thickness is only 18.5 mm and the weight only 13 oz. A completely equipped ALCCD9 so only weighs less than 2.2 lb.

For using the filterwheel without an ALCCD9 its fitted with a seriell connection and a special driver.

The integrated resounding sensor allows reproducable positions of the filters. This is necessary for precise flatfields. The center axle has a high precision ball bearing no plain bearings.

You can use with this wheel all filter up to a hight of 10 mm - so Baader Filter are useable too.

The filterwheel has a 12 V input and output. So you can use the output for an motor focuser. Also it has a RJ12 port for the communication cable to the ALCCD9. You can also plug there the RS232 cable for stand alone operation. Like nearly all ALCCD products, the 2" filterwheel can be driven with ASCOM. So you can use every ASCOM compatible software like MaxIm DL, Astro Art or the freeware CCDCap, which will be delivered with everyy ALCCD camera.
